Addison Kaboom Town Insider Tips
If you ARE coming to Addison Circle Park for the fireworks – here are some ‘insider tips’ to make your experience PAINLESS:
1. ARRIVE EARLY! The park opens at 4 p.m., and once it reaches capacity, they close the gates.
2. Bring water and sunscreen – if you forget, the folks at Albertsons will have a mini-store on property to sell you some.
3. Take a ride – on the MIDWAY – the carnival area is RARELY crowded and offers one of the best and least utilized views of the fireworks without any obstruction from trees.
4. Hang out for a while – remember that 500,000 people come to Addison for the fireworks – and if you’ll stay around and watch Party Machine on the Budweiser stage before you leave, you’ll give the traffic a chance to die down before you hit the road.
5. Want a guaranteed seat? Book a HOTEL package. Hotel packages start at only $70, and they include GUARANTEED admission to Addison Circle Park – so that even if the park is ‘full,’ you’ll be able to get it. Those packages must be booked in advance. Info on the packages can be found here:
