The Flower Mound Police Department will hold its annual Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 18 at the Police Station. During the Open House, residents can learn about crime prevention, the Flower Mound Citizen Patrol and Santa Cops programs, how to properly install their child safety seat, participate in a Carter Blood Care blood drive, tour the station, see police vehicles and equipment, and sign up for a home inspection, crime reports, or either of the FMPD social media pages. In addition, there will be children’s activities including the opportunity to meet Bullitt and Officer Kriese, the FMPD K-9 unit.
The Flower Mound Animal Services Department will also have adoptable animals on-site, if any family is looking for that special someone. Kroger has provided hot dogs, condiments, and bottled water for the event. Everyone is welcome at this free family event.
