FREE Fall Concerts at The Shops at Highland Village ~ Begins Thursday, 9/18

The Shops at Highland Village is hosting two Fall Concerts at the Fountain. This live entertainment is free to the public and will take place at the South Fountain between Patrizio’s and Chico’s.

The first performance is Thursday, Sept. 18 from 7-9 p.m. and will feature J.D. Monson & Sundown. Over the past 20 years, J.D. Monson & Sundown has toured the USA and Mexico performing at large concerts, corporate events and fund raisers. J.D. also writes songs used on television like the hit TV series “Eleventh Hour” on CBS.

The Two O’Clock Lab Band will perform Saturday, Sept. 20 from 6-8 p.m. Performing standard jazz repertoire as well as original compositions by students, The University of North Texas Two O’Clock Lab Band maintains a tradition of garnering national and state recognitions, including 20 invited performances at the Wichita Jazz Festival, first place at the Texas Music Educators Association state convention in 2000, and an invited performance at the International Association of Jazz Education. The Two O’Clock Lab Band recently came under the direction of El Paso native and UNT graduate, Rodney Booth.

Restaurant patio seating is first come, first served. Guests are welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chairs; however, no glass containers are permitted. Box dinners can be ordered in advance from Corner Bakery at 972-317-0878 or Potbelly Sandwich Works at 972-317-0123.
