*Calloways Nursery (October 3rd)
Calloway’s Nusery is holding a Family Day at all of its DFW-area locations on Oct. 3 from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.!
It’s a free festival for neighbors and local residents to celebrate fall harvest together! Family Day will feature entertainment and hands-on activities for children of all ages, including: pumpkin decorating, seasonal crafts, science demonstrations, gardening activities, family photos, giveaways and more. Register now for the upcoming Home Depot Kids Workshop on Saturday, October 3rd, where kids can build a FREE Fire Truck. These workshops are designed for ages 5-12 and are offered at all The Home Depot stores between 9AM-12PM.
*George W. Bush Presidential Library/ Sixth Floor Museum
The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum and The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza today announced a dual promotion for visitors to both institutions. Adults purchasing a general admission ticket to one museum will receive a $2 off coupon to purchase admission to the other museum. The discount is effective October 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015.

Registration is now open for the upcoming Lowe’s Kids Clinic! On Saturday, October 10th at 10AM, head on into Lowe’s where kids can build a FREE Haunted Birdhouse!

Land ahoy! Pirates have shipwrecked in North East Malls’ Center Court for a swashbuckling good time with parents and their kids. Children are invited to have some fun at the mall during the Simon Kidgits Club Pirate Adventure on Saturday, October 3 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Upon arrival, buccaneers will receive personal pirate hats and eye patches as well as other pirate treasures. Attendees can participate in various craft activities, including a make-your-own pirate flag and treasure map. A pirate character will be at the mall to meet and greet the kids as well as pose for pictures, so be sure to bring your camera!

This year will mark the 14th anniversary of the Oktoberfest celebration hosted by Southlake’s Chamber of Commerce! Over 100,000 people visit throughout the weekend festival! Attendance is completely free — there are no admissions or parking fees. There will, however, be a wide range of food, beverages, and booth items available for sale!
Free Shuttle Service
Free parking and a shuttle service will be available at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church (185 S. White Chapel Blvd., Southlake TX 76092) over the weekend. Shuttles will run continuously to and from Southlake Town Square.
