After providing your full name and mailing address, you will be given a membership number – you will need to take this number to the customer service desk at your local Sam’s Club where you will be issued a physical membership card. UPDATE – 9/24/15 (sent in from a reader): I wanted to give you an update on the Sam’s Club free membership for new moms. On Monday, I was given a reference number and told I would receive a call back within 2 days and if not to call back. Today, I called back. They informed me that they changed the procedure and are no longer returning calls!!!! Sam’s is now mailing a letter with your account number and I should receive it by October 15th. The letter must be taken to my Sam’s Club store to get my membership card by November 15th. Anyone who was given a reference number should call them to give Sam’s their mailing address.
