Free Thanksgiving Dinners in DFW 2015

We are still waiting to hear from others, but here is a list of places offering Free Thanksgiving Dinners in Dallas this year.

First United Methodist Church Lewisville  will host the 11th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th. First Lewisville will open its doors from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and serve anybody who wants to come and eat a free meal. Some people join because of a financial burden, others just because they want the company.

Norma’s Cafe is serving up Thanksgiving freebies for the 26th year.  Meal is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Norma’s in Oak Cliff: 1123 W. Davis St., Dallas.

For more than 30 years, La Popular Tamale House in East Dallas has been serving free Thanksgiving lunch for people in need. Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, corn and stuffing on the menu (and maybe some tamales!) Lunch is 1 to 3 p.m. at 5004 Columbia Ave., Dallas. Check out their Facebook page HERE.

The HOPE Center in Fort Worth is giving away Thanksgiving dinners for needy families through the Adopt-a-Family program. For just $25, you can help to provide the joy of sitting around the table with a delicious meal to those less fortunate. Go here for more information.
