*Bass Pro

Kids Fishing at Bass Pro Saturdays, 11 AM Free Join Bass Pro each week when kids are welcome to fish on their pond. Go here for details.

*Container Store

The Container Store has partnered with Goodwill to help our customers Kiss Clutter Goodbye with a goal to declutter, donate and do life – organized.  With this, they are hosting in-store monetary donations for Goodwill through May and TWO donation and demonstration events at all stores this weekend and next!

Seven Dallas/Fort Worth area locations will host two Kiss Clutter Goodbye Weekend Events from 12pm – 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, April 23 – 24 and April 30 – May 1. They’ll also have Goodwill representatives on hand to accept donations of new or used clothing, textiles, small appliances and household good (sorry, no mattresses, furniture, chemicals or paint).  There will also be demonstrations set up throughout the store where our organizing experts will be sharing our top spring decluttering tips, demonstrating our favorite organizing solutions and even providing samples to take and try at home!  Plus, there will also be prize drawings during the entire event!!

Earth Day Texas has always provided a fun, interactive space to learn about environmental solutions and initiatives. This year feature an estimated 1,600-plus exhibit spaces occupying 750,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor exhibit space in Fair Park. National Park Week – April 16 – 24

More than 100 national parks will be waiving the entrance fees for National Park Week! Go to the National Park Service website for a list of participating parks. The National Park Service also has an easy-to-use directory of parks by name, location, activity and topic.

Auditions for the  upcoming adult production of Southern Hospitality will be held on April 23rd at 10am! Please bring an updated headshot and resume and be prepared to cold read from the script. Those auditioning should be 18 and up!

The Futrelle Sisters – Frankie, Twink, Honey Raye and Rhonda Lynn are in trouble again.  This time, the problem is bigger than ever: their beloved hometown, Favro, Texas is in danger of disappearing and it’s up to the sisters to save it from extinction.  Ever since the Super SmartMart and the rendering plant closed, folks have been leaving Fayro in droves, but Honey Raye, with a major assist from her former nemesis Geneva Musgrave, has come up with a possible solution!
