2016 Kidd’s Kids Day Is Tomorrow!
As it has for the last quarter century, The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show (heard locally on 106.1 KISS FM) will dedicate its entire four-hour program tomorrow to raising funds for the annual Kidd’s Kids trip to Walt Disney World.
The October 18th show will celebrate 25th Anniversary of Kidd’s Kids while raising funds for annual trip to Walt Disney World.
“Kidd’s Kids Day is always one of my favorite days of the year, but it’s incredibly surreal to think we’re marking our 25th anniversary this year,” said Caroline Kraddick, daughter of legendary radio personality Kidd Kraddick, who now serves as CEO and Chief Happiness Officer of her late father’s foundation. “This trip is an amazing testament to my dad’s legacy, and I know he’d be overcome with joy to see how Kidd’s Kids has continued to flourish since he left us.”
Listeners may support Kidd’s Kids Day in several ways. Donations can be made online through the Kidd’s Kids website, KiddsKids.com, through the Southwest Airlines Kidd’s Kids Day Donation Hotline (888) 792-5439 / (888) SWA-KIDZ from 6 a.m. – 12 p.m. (CST), or by texting “KIDD” to “52000” to donate $10. More than 60 Southwest employees will volunteer their time to man the phone lines during the morning telethon. Southwest Airlines generously provides the call center and all the airfare for the trip.
Listeners may donate in-person at Nebraska Furniture Mart from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, and all day at more than 120 participating Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers restaurants nationwide. As it has for the last five years, Raising Cane’s will also donate 15 percent of its sales on Oct. 18.
In addition, personalities from 106.1 KISS FM, as well as Elena and Part-Time Justin, will be at the following locations, where donors may register to win two VIP tickets to the 106.1 KISS FM Jingle Ball 2016:
