Screen Shot 2015-08-23 at 12.40.18 PMWhat better way to throw and end of summer party than Miles from Tomorrowland Space Style!  Yep, that’s what we did.  We went on a mission to put a little learning into the last few days of summer time fun.

Ava and her neighbors are fans of Miles from Tomorrowland, so we set out on a mission to have a themed pool party.  Let’s face it, all too often our kids get “dumbed down” with mindless TV shows.  I always want these girls to play and have toys that encourage  learning, imagination, and discovery.

That’s why we are big fans of Disney Junior’s, Miles from Tomorrowland where each episode features a fact related to space or science that inspires the storyline!

tomorrowland1We had SO much fun today!  You can do the same! Complete fun mission activities inspired by Miles FromTomorrowland and take a picture of your kids with the completed activities and submit them for a chance to win a VIP family trip to the Kennedy Space Center to see a rocket launch, meet an astronaut, and receive a 3D printer, virtual reality viewer and Miles From Tomorrowland toys!

There are tons of activities to choose from including tech, vehicle and space!  We had fun choosing our activities and I’m sure you will too!  And the themed carried right into our food with cosmic cookies and “brown cloud” treats!

First the indoor activities and then outside for what we called a little gravity test.  Yep, the dreaded egg toss.  For some as you can see, it was a COSMIC BUST!

We did some “oxygen testing” with a bubble gum chewing contest…made what the girls called “orbit floam” with contents from home…and finally “cubed” it in the pool Miles from Tomorrowland style! These girls had a blast!  And guess what, so did I. It was a great way to end the summer on an educational note!

Plus start the countdown to the premiere of Miles from Tomorrowland Space Mission: Mars on Saturday, September 19th at 9 am/8c on Disney Junior on Disney Channel!  And if you love Twitter parties, don’t miss this one on September 19th from 8-9 a.m. CST!
