Since its start in 1989, The Promise remains the largest permanent outdoor amphitheater in the State of Texas. It seats more than 3200 patrons and is the only outdoor venue with a 45,000-gallon waterway running the length of 100′ long proscenium stage. Seen from miles around, the Texas Amphitheater features 40′-high walls and arches that tower above a 4,000 sq. ft. tri-level stage. It is also the only outdoor theater in the nation with a rain curtain.
It’s hailed as one of the most powerful spiritual experiences ever presented on a stage, The Promise will touch hearts, and change lives!
I have never been but have heard it is wonderful. I would love to take my 10 year old son so that we can experience it together.
My family and I would LOVE to go see The Promise!
My single mom of 5 would take us to the living Christmas Tree each year when we were kids and it was so impactful to me even as at that age. I want to take my kids to something that will teach and give them a lasting impact as well.
Wow! What an impact this show can have on spreading the message of salvation. My husband is a seminary student. Due to limited family income during this time, we are not able to do “extra” activities like this. What a blessing it would be to experience an event like this!
I would love for my family to go. We’ve lived here since The Passion begun and have never seen it. My two kids need to see the story come to life.
I’d love to take my two adopted children. They are struggling and I think this would be a great way for them to see the power of the Promise.
I would love to take my grandkids.
Would love to take my kiddos! Looks awesome!
I remember seeing this amazing play as a small child on one of our family vacations. It has been an experience that has stuck in my mind forever! I would love for my children to have an opportunity to experience this heart felt message as well!
We would love to go again. We went about 5 or 6 years ago and were blown away. This year we have friends performing in it.
This would be a great way to spend my birthday weekend. I’ve never gone!!
Our family of 4 would love to go!!
My mom has always wanted to go. Would love to take her!
