There are several pumpkin patches in the Dallas & Fort Worth for you to enjoy.   Here is a long list of GREAT pumpkin patches you can enjoy!

*Autumn at the Arboretum – Dallas

Decorated with 75,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash, 1,500 ears of corn, 900 hay bales, 1,200 cornstalks and 150,000 blooming flowers and plants, the one-acre Pumpkin Village will have your kids exploring for hours. Be sure to brush up on your fairy tales beforehand because Cinderella’s carriage presents the perfect photo op for little princesses and princes. Visit on Mommy & Me Mondays or Tiny Tot Tuesdays from 10am−2pm for special attractions such as a petting zoo, face painting, music and crafts.

Autumn Days Festival – Ennis (Oct 17th)

Blase Family Farm Pumpkin Patch

Visit this charming family farm for old-fashioned fun with a petting zoo, hayride, hay maze and — of course — an endless picturesque backdrop of pumpkins. Let the kids pet and feed a longhorn, goat and sheep before boarding the farm train to tour the 13-acre pine-filled property. Bonus: Your little pumpkin can have his or her next birthday party at the farm.

*Country Critters Farm

Saturdays and Sundays thru November 8; 10am–5pm
Pay admission to Country Critters Farm and walk away with one pie-sized pumpkin per child and one jack-o-lantern-sized pumpkin for your family (but you can always purchase more). While you’re dreaming of pie, your kids will be going gaga over the bounce houses, playground, petting zoo, pony ride, train ride, hayride, maze, duck races, games and storytelling sessions (whew!).

Cost: $10 per person, $5 seniors, free for children 24 months and younger

 

*Elves Farm Pumpkin Farm

Visit the Farmers Market setup to purchase all your fall decorating needs including pumpkins, gourds, indian corn and more. Your family will enjoy activities including the Farm Zoo – visit with Chickens, Goats, Pot Belly Pig (Hamlet), and the new rabbit Blue, The Maze; Hay Ride, Dress the Scarecrow, Hay Jump, Visit to the Patch, Sack Races, Duck Races, and Corn Cannon available for additional charge.

Cost: Pumpkin Tour $8 per person (includes all activities and a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch), Ride Along Tour $3 per person (includes all activities but does not include a pumpkin).

Festival at The Switchyard – Carrollton (Nov 7th)

The original Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch has it all: two mazes (for small ones and “big kids”), bounce houses, cartoon cutouts, a pumpkin train, hayrides, train rides and playground equipment. Oh, and pumpkins. Bring food for picnicking any time or buy from local vendors — like Fletcher’s Corny Dogs — on weekends. Leashed pets are welcome.

Garland AutumnFest – Garland (Oct 17th)

Come to a working farm and pick your pumpkins off the vine, or snag a pre-picked one from one of the vignettes around the farm. For a little extra, hop on a tractor-pulled hayride on the weekends or test your wits in a two-acre corn maze. Kids will also love visiting the farm animals. Bring food and drinks if you like; some concessions are available.

Henrietta Creek Orchard

Pumpkin patch, Pick your own apples (10 varieties), peaches (6 varieties), black-eyed peas, squash, and okra, Plums, tomatoes, Seasonal Vegetables . Open: Daily, from July to October 9am to 4 pm. We have over 700 hybrid dwarf apple trees and about 200 peach trees. Please CALL before you come out.

Bring your camera. For your FALL DECORATIONS, we have orange and exotic pumpkins, hay bales, corn stalks and gourds of all kinds to buy. You’ll love our gift shop, which was once a milking parlor. Hay rides are included in admission (we’ve added an additional tractor and wagon to our fleet to keep the line moving), and you’ll get to play in the 3-story tree house, wooden maze and other playground activities. We have 3 mazes, face and pumpkin painting, a hay-play and jump barn, 100 ft. super chute slide, pedal kart race track, GOAT SCAPE MOUNTAIN, picnic pavilion, and indoor restrooms. Come hungry to the Mainstay Grill where we serve: gourmet hot dogs, hamburgers, turkey legs, sausage-on-a-stick, caramel apple chips, pumpkin ice cream, and pumpkin pie. We also have a snack stand on the back of the farm. Bring your family and enjoy our farm.

What was once the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm has a new name and home. Pet and learn about more than 50 farm animals on this educational tour and pumpkin patch. Plus, there is a hay maze, hayride and roping pen.

Pumpkin Patch at Creekwood United Methodist Church

261 Country Club Road, Allen

Stock up on carving, baking, mini and giant pumpkins at this kid-friendly patch. The iconic red barn at Creekwood UMC sets the perfect backdrop for your fall family photo. Creekwood’s Fall Carnival from 2−6pm on October 17 will have crafts, games, face painting and more — don’t forget your costumes.

*The Pumpkin Patch at First Christian Church

In early October, FCC Arlington and Rush Creek Christian Church of Arlington will partner to bring thousands of pumpkins to the FCC property. Come by to walk through the pumpkin displays, take family photos, read an autumn story to your kids and enjoy a few lawn games. More than 5,000 differend gourds and pumpkins will be available.

Pumpkin Patch at Christ United Methodist Church

3101 Coit Road, Plano
October 1−31; daily 9am−7pm
Up to two tons of pumpkins were dropped off at Christ UMC last month in preparation for this pumpkin patch fundraiser. Round up your little pumpkins and the camera for lots of photo opportunities. Face painting is available most weekends. Plus, all kids get a sticker.

Pumpkin Patch in The Shed at the Dallas Farmers Market

Through October 31; Fri & Sun 10am–5pm, Sat 8am–5pm
Do double duty with grocery shopping and fall photo ops at the Dallas Farmers Market’s patch. Pumpkins and gourds of all shapes, sizes and colors will be available for purchase. Don’t leave without getting a festive balloon from the on-site balloon artist. Visit during any weekend through December 31 to take advantage of Holiday Hall, featuring local craft and gift vendors.

Ruibal’s Rosemeade Market 7th Annual Fall Festival

Ruibal’s annual autumn extravaganza returns with a hay maze, corn house, pumpkin decorating, face painting and more. Ditch the picnic and snack on provisions from food vendors all decorated with autumn hues. As always, Ruibal’s will have an extensive selection of pumpkins, gourds and fall plants perfect for your front porch. Bring the camera for lots of picture perfect backdrops.

St. James Episcopal Church Pumpkin Patch

Round up the family — even Fido — and head to St. James’ annual pumpkin patch to stock up on supplies for your autumn hearth. Bring the camera to snap a festive family photo or silly face-in-the-hole pictures. Purchase a variety of mini, baking and oversized pumpkins and gourds with proceeds benefiting St. James’ youth group programs.

Your littles can ride ponies, navigate a hay maze, jump in bounce houses, meet furry friends at a petting zoo and tour a historic western town by wagon all with a scenic autumn backdrop. Plus, every kid gets a free mini pumpkin with admission while supplies last. Visit during their family-friendly Halloween party on October 30 for costume contests and prizes.
