Autumn at the Arboretum, Featuring the Nationally Acclaimed Pumpkin Village runs September 20 – November 26. The garden will transform with thousands of blazing colored florals as over 50,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash come together to form the nationally acclaimed storybook pumpkin village. A multitude of special events will also be available on weekdays and weekends along with the hay bale maze, the great pumpkin search, and the Tom Thumb pumpkin patch.

At the storyteller kids get a cookie and apple juice and adults get a slice of home-made pumpkin bread. Children get a pie size pumpkin, and can decorate it with markers, each family will receive a jack-o-lantern pumpkin with admission! Open: Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday from 1 to 5 pm, gates close at 4 pm each day, Opens September 27th through November 9th; Open weekdays by reservation only. You will find hundreds of pumpkins to choose from, cornstalks, hay bales, baked goods, and refreshments. Picnic tables are provided for individual use, however use of tables by any large groups or parties must be reserved and confirmed. There is a $5 charge for parking, however ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FREE. Purchases are optional. Each season we feature cutouts and bounce houses for the kids. In addition a number of local vendors provide food for purchase. Open from October 1-31 from 9am to 7pm.

Bring your camera. For your FALL DECORATIONS, we have orange and exotic pumpkins, hay bales, corn stalks and gourds of all kinds to buy. You’ll love our gift shop, which was once a milking parlor. Hay rides are included in admission (we’ve added an additional tractor and wagon to our fleet to keep the line moving), and you’ll get to play in the 3-story tree house, wooden maze and other playground activities. We have 3 mazes, face and pumpkin painting, a hay-play and jump barn, 100 ft. super chute slide, pedal kart race track, GOAT SCAPE MOUNTAIN, picnic pavilion, and indoor restrooms. Come hungry to the Mainstay Grill where we serve: gourmet hot dogs, hamburgers, turkey legs, sausage-on-a-stick, caramel apple chips, pumpkin ice cream, and pumpkin pie. We also have a snack stand on the back of the farm. Bring your family and enjoy our farm. Mainstay Farm and Haymarket holds its annual “Family Pumpkin Days” on Saturdays October 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th and November 1st from 11am until 5pm. Admission $11 adults, $9 children 12 and under, $9 seniors 65 and older and children 2 and under are free.
