Saving on Memorial Day Picnics ~ Think ALDI

ALDIAre you planning a picnic for Memorial Day?  If so, I have a little secret I’m going to share with you on a great way to save…no coupons, nothing.  Look at the stash I just got for a barbecue all for under $25.

Yep, chicken breasts and brats for just $7 combined.  ALDI… yep, ALDI. It’s a great place to go to get at your Memorial Day picnic needs if you’re on a budget.  I have one down the street and can get some super awesome bargains when I don’t have time to clip coupons and bargain shop.  The produce and meat is priced super awesome!  And you get guaranteed quality and freshness.

If you drink a ton of milk in the house, this price can’t beat at $1.19 per gallon!  WOW!

We eat a ton of trail mix in our family as a quick snack and I haven’t found a better price for the quantity we get at $2.79.

Nefty, my photographer at WFAA loves the generic brand at ALDI too.  He says it is super good!

Looking for organic? ALDI has shoppers covered from fruits and veggies to many of the foods in the SimplyNature line. Customers can just look for the USDA organic label.

ALDI Memorial Day

If you’ve never shopped an ALDI, it’s a bit different. Make sure to bring a quarter to use the shopping cart ,but you get it back when you’re done. And bring your own grocery bag.
