I am by “NO” means a trampoline expert, just a mom who has been through three trampolines because my daughter is a gymnast. It has been a great backyard plaything for her and her friends. However, I can tell you when you buy cheap you get just that… cheap. So if you’re looking to buy a trampoline for the holidays, I just want to share some of my experience and give you some new and safer alternatives, even though it may be more of an investment than you initially thought.

First, you can get an average 15″ trampoline for around $250. Often times you have to buy the safety pad and net extra so let’s just add an extra $100 for giggles. So you are $350 in for fun in the backyard. I’ve been through 6 safety pads and two nets and it looks horrible this year! The squirrels love the padding for their nests :(. Why am I telling you this? There is a new trampoline out there if you are looking for one that is touted as the world’s safest and there are some Black Friday deals that will help you save close to $600.

Springfree Trampoline just opened in Southlake. They also have stores in Frisco and Plano. You can also buy online. So you’re asking what is so special? Well, I went and checked out the trampolines as I am considering the investment myself. They aren’t paying me to share this information, but I’m doing this out of my own free will as it’s the first quality trampoline I’ve seen that has “safety” written all over it!

Why?
*Springfree has no springs, hard edges and a safety net that rebounds you back to the mat surface
*Choose form six sizes and three different shapes
*Developed by an engineer who studied what caused trampoline injuries, then engineered out the impact zones responsible (yay!)

IMG_0953Prices in store start at $1,099-$2,099

For two weeks during Black Friday you can get FREE delivery, installation, a Flexrsteop and Flexrhoop. That’s a $577 savings. Again, if you’re looking for a trampoline to put under the Christmas tree, you might consider this as in the long run you will save more time, headaches and increase safety tremendously. Well worth the investment in my opinion! Plus, they have a great chalkboard and reading area to keep the kids busy why you are busy checking things out.
