Me and my co-workers went to lunch to discuss ways to improve social skills in the work place and after we ordered we sat and waited for our food. I noticed a lady and her daughter come into the restaurant and they sat down and didn’t order. They looked tired and hungry. I got up and ordered two meals and had them delivered to there table. They seemed very happy.

I found a little girl’s purse one day shopping in Wal-Mart and I searched all over the store for the little girl to return it to her. I figured if I just turned it in to the store they wouldn’t care since I’m sure it didn’t have anything considered valuable by an adult in it, but I have 2 girls and I know how important their small things are to them.

My daughter and I gave all our change to a homeless woman sitting outside a store we were about to enter, for her to catch the bus. I noticed she was crying, so we sat with her, asked why she was crying, listened, then prayed with her, hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. Once inside the store, my daughter suggested we buy her a scarf! It was cold and windy outside. After purchasing it, we cut the tags off, and took it to her. I put it around her neck and told her to always remember when she wears it that she is wrapped in God’s love and our love. She said it was her favorite color! I told her that God arranged that just for her! She smiled SO big! We hugged her again and were on our way, happy as could be!

I work at a homeless shelter once a month. One homeless woman came in and said that she needed a hair band to pull back her hair. No one could find one for her to have, so I pulled out the one in my hair and gave it to her.
