In honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden invites the community to the garden. As part of the January promotion, admission to the Arboretum is $5 now through January 31. The discount applies only to those purchasing tickets onsite at the ticket booth.

As guests stroll throughout the garden, they can also watch the horticulture staff plant and prepare the garden for the opening of the renowned Dallas Blooms festival with the theme, The Artistry in Nature, beginning February 27. That date also marks the reopening of the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden, which has been closed for winterizing and maintenance.

For those interested in making reservations for the three-course Friendship Tea taking place now through February 26, reservations can be made by calling 214.515.6511 orteas@dallasarboretum.org. Seated tea is available for guests 13 years and older.
