BabiesRUs is partnering with various organizations to offer New Parent Workshops and Classes…choose from Breastfeeding, Baby Basics, Infant CPR, Prenatal Yoga, & more!

*Barnes & Noble
Mark your calendars! On May 16th at 11AM, attend the FREE Ballet Cat: The Totally Secret Secret Storytime and Activities event.

*Bass Pro Shops
During May 16th and 17th, attend free Kids’ Adventure Activities, Crafts, Giveaways, and more. Go here for more details.

*Carrollton Free Parenting Classes

Take advantage of these FREE parenting classesgoing on in June and July at the Carrollton Library. Each of the following events is designed for adults only and they offer concurrent programming for children six and older, but please make alternative arrangements for younger children.

S.T.E.P. (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting) Birth through the teen years.

These six classes offer parents a foundational understanding of parenting skills. It teaches a positive approach to problem solving, communication, and discipline . Please join us for as many as you can! A bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking instructor will lead these classes .

Attend FREE Kid’s Workshops from 10AM-2PM each month this year with Crafts, Activities, Giveaways, and more!

*Junior League of Fort Worth Kids in the Kitchen

The Junior League of Fort Worth will host Kids in the Kitchen sponsored by Mayfest on Saturday, May 16, 2015, from 11:00am-1:00pm at TCU Recreation Center.

The fun-filled fair targets under-served Fort Worth ISD elementary students and their families and educates them to make healthy choices in nutrition and physical activity. Mayfest provided a generous grant in the amount of $25,000 to sponsor the month-long educational initiative and event.

In addition to the partnership with FWISD, Kids In the Kitchen has expanded to include resources from other local groups targeted at improving the lives of the school aged children. Cook Children’s Medical Center will provide information about its mobile medical clinics and subsidized insurance programs. Fort Worth Fire Department will provide helmet and fire safety demonstrations. Fort Worth Drowning Prevention Coalition will spotlight its “On Deck” water safety program provided at local city pools during the summer. At the conclusion of the event, Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Mobile Food Pantry Unit will distribute 25,000 pounds of fresh product and dairy to the attendees. Each attending family will have the opportunity to take home 3-5 days worth of healthy food items!

Register your kiddos for the upcoming Home Depot Kids Workshop! You can now sign up for the FREE Kids Workshop on June 6th where kids can build a FREE Load ‘n Go Truck. These workshops are designed for ages 5-12 and are offered the 1st Saturday at all The Home Depot stores between 9AM-12PM.

*Kids Bowl Free
Get your kiddos out of the house and keep them entertained all Summer long with the Kids Bowl Free Program! The 8th annual Kids Bowl Free program can be found at over 1,000 bowling centers in the US and Canada and is valid for kids ages 15 and under. Registration is 100% FREE – each child will snag coupons for 2 free games of bowling daily throughout the summer.

*Lakeshore Learning Store

*Nasher Sculpture Center

Concert/film line-up for the 2015 season of ‘til Midnight at the Nasher. The popular evening program will continue to offer complimentary admission to all guests for the run of the season from May through October 2015.

’til Midnight at the Nasher presents live outdoor concerts featuring the best in regional music talent and film screenings in the Nasher Garden. Guests have the opportunity to engage in social media scavenger hunts, progressive tours and to view the permanent collection and special exhibitions. Nasher Cafe by Wolfgang Puck offers special reserve-ahead picnic dining for two and grab & go food items the night of the event.
