Hungry? How about some free food? There’s an app for that! Lots and lots of food apps, in fact. From convenience stores to fast food to restaurants, eateries are designing easy-to-use mobile apps with the intention of driving more business into their stores. These apps have loads of different features, like store locators and up-to-date menus. Many even allow you to place an order ahead of time and pick it up without having to wait on long lines! Incentives like rewards programs, redeemable for free food and drinks, will keep you coming back for more.

Here’s a list of some popular food apps and the freebies they offer:

McDonald’s offers dollar off coupons and BOGO deals.
Burger King gives up to $30 in savings instantly, with meal deals and BOGO Whoppers.
Taco Bell sends a $2 off coupon for every $10 purchase.

Dairy Queen offers a free Blizzard with sign-up, with more freebies to follow as part of their loyalty program.
Hardee’s/Carl’s Jr. has a dollar off menu available at sign-up, and Super-Star rewards that score free food.

Sonic gives a free medium sized slush with the app download, and tracks rewards points on future purchases.
Panera gives away a free pastry, or “sweet treat reward,” for downloading their app.

Jamba Juice is doing double duty, offering a free birthday juice or smoothie, AND a $3 off coupon.
Baskin Robbins will sweeten your day with a free scoop when you download their app.
Quiznos offers a free 4 inch sub, with drink and chip purchase.

Steak ‘n Shake adds a free milkshake bonus to your first purchase.
Dunkin’ Donuts gives you a free drink with sign-up, and follow it up with lots of coupons.
Tropical Smoothie gives a $4 credit for new downloads, and creates a referral link that rewards you with free food when your friends sign up for the app.

7-Eleven has free food and drink offers as well as BOGO deals such as a free snack with your drink purchase.
QT gives a free drink at sign-up, and freebies multiple times a month.
Starbucks doesn’t have any freebies immediately, but if you’re a frequent customer you’ll save big in the long run with your choice of a free drink or food item when you accumulate enough points.

Chick-Fil-A is giving away a free chicken sandwich with your download, and rewards you with deals picked for you based on your previous purchases.
Auntie Anne’s sends you a free pretzel offer after your first purchase, and rewards you with free pretzel after every 300 points accumulated with their loyalty program.
Hooked Deals claims to be the #1 college food and drink app, and it’s nothing short of genius. App users can enter what kind of food they’re searching for and Hooked will give a list of nearby restaurants. Search results span from fast food to fine dining AND also offers exclusive deals at those eateries for a limited time. Show the app at checkout to receive these amazing offers!
