Smoke and soul swirl over Bedford at the city’s annual Blues and BBQ festival– the live music lineup includes headliner and Grammy winner Boz Scaggs among 16 Southern rock, blues and jazz acts on dual stages!
But that’s just one half of the festival’s meat as barbecue-tasting events showcase fare from around the country. Pork vs. beef? Sweet or spicy sauce? The people and three official sanctioning organizations will choose winners in competitions that will award more than $20,000 in prizes to ambitious pitmasters.

Free general admission and parking on Aug. 30. For Aug. 31-Sept. 1, tickets are $10 online or $15 cash at the gate for general admission, $15 for a weekend pass (online only), free for children 5 and under with a paid adult. Reserved and party tent seating available. On-site parking is $10 in advance, $20 at the event.
