Here are some fun, FREE things to do this weekend at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas!

Target First Saturday
What: A day of free admission and fun family programming.
When: Saturday, January 7, 10 am – 5 pm; Family Activities 10 am – 2 pm
Where: Nasher Sculpture Center, 2001 Flora Street, Dallas, TX 75201
Details: Bring out your children’s artistic talents and broaden their understanding and appreciation of the world. Target First Saturdays are designed for children in preschool to elementary school. January’s Big Idea is “Time” and the Art Project is “Milestone Monuments.” Admission is free. Full schedule here.

Ultra-Seeing Film Series: Music!
What: An exploration of experimental cinema from the perspective of synesthesia, visual music, and visualization of music.
When: Sunday, January 8, 2 pm
Where: Nasher Sculpture Center, 2001 Flora Street Dallas, TX 75201
Details: Ultra-Seeing is an exploration of experimental cinema from the perspective of synesthesia, visual music, and visualization of music. Each hour-long session will bring together major works from the rich collection of Light Cone, a French organization dedicated to the diffusion and conservation of experimental cinema, and contemporary productions from local and international artists.
