Ft. Worth Students Present $10K to Build National Desert Storm War Memorial on 11/10

Hillwood Middle School faculty and students in the Fort Worth area (and all 22 districts) took on the National Desert Storm War Memorial (NDSWM) Texas School Challenge to raise funds to help build the National Desert Storm War Memorial in Washington, DC.

At this event, the students will present a check for more than $10,000 in funds raised to Bob Adams, vice president of the NDSWM Board of Directors. Here are the details if you would like to check out this event:

Participating schools are: Hillwood, Fossil Hill, Keller, Timberview, and Trinity Springs schools.

The National Desert Storm War Memorial (NDSWM) a 501(c)3 organization headquartered in Washington, DC. The organization piloted the NDSWM Texas School Challenge!, to raise money for the new National Desert Storm War Memorial (NDSWM) that will be built in remembrance of the Desert Storm War, those who paid the ultimate price for their involvement, the war’s veterans and the liberation of the country of Kuwait.
