The Fort Worth Zoo’s 12th annual tasting and music event, Beastro, takes place Friday, May 18, from 8 p.m. to midnight. In addition to sample appetizers, entrees and desserts from restaurants all over the metroplex, as well as open bars throughout the park, Beastro will feature music from the Jordan Kahn Orchestra, Memphis Soul, Incognito and the Keith Mitchell Band. Proceeds from the event support the Zoo’s local and international wildlife conservation and education efforts.

The Zoo’s outreach animals will greet partygoers as they enter the event. The Zoo will feature keeper chats at select exhibits until dusk while guests dine on delectables from more than 30 restaurants. New this year, the headlining acts will play at The Reserve, the Zoo’s new special events pavilion, which borders the new African Savanna exhibit.
