Here’s a fun family event you won’t want to miss. The InTouch Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival is scheduled for September 21st, 22nd, and 23rd and right now you can get admission for just $5 ($10 Value).
The weekend event offers something for everyone; entertainment on the FOX 4 community stage and KLUV main stage, Saturday evening spectacular fireworks show, special kids activities, sky divers, an enormous variety of food to tempt your taste buds, merchandise and handmade products showcased, and of course the incredible hot air balloons. The balloons will launch Friday at 6:00pm, Saturday at 7:00am and 6:00pm, and Sunday at 7:00am and 6:00pm (weather permitting).

Friday: Downtown Fever: This high energy group is comprised of the most talented musicians Dallas has to offer. Through lighting, choreography, and multiple lead vocalists, they bring a dynamic and interactive style that is famous for keeping dance floors full all night long.
Saturday: Good Question Band: In the classic style of great horn bands “GOOD QUESTION” ignites the stage and audiences with great music, energy and a huge “wall of sound”! Performing a huge variety of music, including today’s contemporary hits to legendary classics, “GOOD QUESTION” has the look, the sound, and the song selection that sets the group apart from others – the perfect recipe for a great event and memorable experience!
Parachute Team Exhibition: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons, the RE/MAX of Texas parachute team will perform by jumping from their plane over the park and landing right in the middle of the launch field.
Fireworks Show: Saturday evening, catch the BOOM, BANG, and BEAUTY of a spectacular fireworks show, lighting up the night sky. Moving Colors In Concert: Saturday night, the Moving Colors Band will play danceable music with precision and solid rhythm, coupled with the addition of stomp music.
The Central Market Kids Fun Zone: Kids can race through the obstacle courses, zip down the huge slides, ride the pirate ship or the berry-go-round. They’ll love the creative make and take art activities in the FREE Kids Korner and a variety of fun craft stations. Toddlers can experience the fun of inflatables that are just their size! (Rides vary in price from $1-$4 with all-day wristbands available for $20).
