I love that the meal kits are fresh, they include all of the ingredients, everything is measured and prepped, there’s a recipe card in the box so you know exactly how to prepare the dinner and they cook in 20 minutes! Perfect for busy families on the go when you want a healthy dinner but you’re rushed for time.
I choose the Hummus Baked Chicken meal kit which included:
-1 Cup Chickpeas
-1 1/2 tsp. Minced Garlic
-2 Cups Cooked Orzo
-1/3 Cup Diced Red Bell Peppers
-1 1/2 Cup Dried Zucchini
-12oz. Chicken Breast
-3 Tbsp. Feta Cheese
I honestly can’t believe how easy this was make. I purchased two kits which was perfect for my family of four and everyone loved the meal – even my super picky son. Looks delicious right!
I’m not sure if I could have made such a delicious meal on my own. I love that you are able to try new flavors and create what looks like a complicated meal simply with all of the tools that the Kroger chefs give us within the kit.
You’ll also find gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and dietitians choice options. I had a hard time choosing between the Steak, Salmon, Chicken, Pork Chop and Fettuccini options.
Keep in mind that Prep+Pared Kits in your local Kroger will change because they are rotating the menu for customers. That way you’ll always have new options of Prep+Pared Meals for your family!
