McKinney Oktoberfest This Weekend

It’s that time of year again—Oktoberfest! From Sept. 27-29, McKinney’s 12th annual German-fare festival will take place in downtown McKinney. During the event, 14 blocks of Historic Downtown McKinney will be transformed into a beer garden, featuring German food, drinks, vendors, live music and activities, such as wiener-dog races, giant beer-pong competitions and more.

Admission is free, but activities and times vary by day. Find a schedule of activities happening each day here.
• Fri., Sept. 27: Noon-11:30 p.m.
• Sat., Sept. 28: 10:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m.
• Sun., Sept. 29: noon-5 p.m. 

Tickets

Before the festival, Oktoberfest guests can purchase concession tickets for food, beer and activities  at these locations:
• McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee St.
• Market Street, 6100 W. Eldorado Parkway
• Apex Centre, 3003 Alma Road

Tickets will also be available to purchase at the festival.
