CNN and Sesame Street are teaming up for a special town hall this weekend to help children better understand why life is different now due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The ABC’s of COVID-19 will air on Saturday, April 25 at 8 AM CST on CNN. The 90-minute special will provide information for families as it answers kids’ questions in the kind, gentle, age-appropriate manner that Sesame Street is known for.

The special will be hosted by CNN’s Chief Medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, anchor Erica Hill, and Big Bird. They’ll be joined by some other familiar faces from Sesame Street too, including Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Rosita, and Grover as they cover issues like homeschooling, worry, screen time, and playdates.

The ABC’s of COVID-19 will also stream live (without requiring a cable log-in) on CNN.com and on mobile devices via the CNN app. It can also be viewed on CNNgo on your desktop, mobile, or streaming device.

If you or your child have a question you’d like to have answered by Big Bird and friends, you can submit it now on CNN’s website.
