Albertsons is launching a new Gas Rewards program and Tom Thumb is expanding their Gas Rewards program, both with Chevron, in Dallas and throughout North Texas! That means BIG savings for us DFW folks! Shop the great deals in-store, then jump across the parking lot for more deal on fuel for your vehicles. That’s one-stop shopping at its best!
Shoppers can now earn points and redeem up to 20 cents per gallon in Gas Rewards at participating Chevron and Texaco locations or up to $1 per gallon at Tom Thumb and Albertsons gas stations. Existing Tom Thumb Reward Card members can earn and redeem points by using their Reward Card or phone number. New shoppers can enroll in the Gas Rewards program today by downloading the Tom Thumb or just for U® app, available for iOS™ and Android® devices. They can also enroll online at TomThumb.com or Albertsons.com/rewards. Once registered, you can earn one point for every dollar spent on participating items. Points are redeemable at the pump at Tom Thumb, Albertsons, and participating Chevron and Texaco gas stations.
I live in downtown Dallas, and there is a Tom Thumb with a gas station attached to it, not too far from me. This is where my boyfriend, Bryan, and I always stop for great deals on groceries and gas (p.s. this is Jeni’s boyfriend, Laura is still married to her man for 24 years :)). It’s super convenient, and makes our grocery and gas outings much quicker with a one-stop-shop. Not only do we save big time in the store on our purchases, we save money on gas, too. We saved 20 cents per gallon on our last fill up – that’s under $2 per gallon! Every little bit helps, and Bryan was pretty excited to see the total 🙂
Rewards expire at the end of the month, following the one in which they were earned, which gives you plenty of time to use them. There is a limit of 200 points for a $0.20 per gallon Reward in a single fill-up at participating Chevron or Texaco stations, and a limit of 1,000 points for a single fill-up at a Tom Thumb or Albertsons gas station. You can save up your points, and opt not to use them, like we do, too!
The next time you fill up at a gas station, shouldn’t you save more money? With gas prices fluctuating so frequently, it’s nice to see some consistency and rewards for the money you spend. Gas prices are up, down and all over the place, but Tom Thumb and Albertsons are consistent in savings!
