The 2020 State Fair of Texas may be canceled, but fair foodies can still get their fix. The Big Tex Fair Food Drive-Thru is a progressive Fair food experience on the grounds of the great State Fair of Texas. Visitors will drive through the grounds, which are decked out in State Fair style, picking up Fair food favorites along the way.
At Big Tex circle, visitors will park and exit their cars to have their annual pictures taken by a professional photographer. The experience will then continue with a drive along to Lagoon to pick up some of the sweeter offerings and have a bit of Midway fun! The entire experience should take approximately one to one and a half hours.
And don’t forget, if you want to enjoy your Fair food treats before heading home, you can bring a picnic setup and stop to eat in one of our parking lots as you exit the fairgrounds.
