The Allen Arts Alliance and Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm invite the community to celebrate local talent and artisans during the annual Allen Arts Festival throughout Mother’s Day weekend, Friday, May 10 – Sunday, May 12. With free entry and free parking, as well as art activities for kids, the festival is a fun event for the whole family!
This year’s Allen Arts Festival will feature more than 80 juried artisans from around the country, offering all mediums of art, such as clay, glass, jewelry, wood, sculpture, paintings, pottery, and more, to explore throughout the festival.
In addition to children’s activities and musical entertainment during the day, there will be concerts from 7-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 3-5 p.m. on Sunday. Featured bands and performers include:
- Friday, May 10 | It’s all about Jazz! 5-7 p.m. | Allen High School Jazz Band
- Saturday, May 11 | Elevation; presented by Emerald City
- Sunday, May 12 | The TBA Band
Saturday and Sunday will include kids’ activities and crafts at Blue House Too, as well as a Visual Arts League of Allen exhibit open to the public all weekend.
