JCPenney Black Friday 2014 ~ 5 p.m. Thanksgiving. Doors open Thursday at 5pm and you can shop Black Friday Deals all day Thursday at JCPenney.com. The beloved snowglobe tradition will continue this year, though specific details are sparse. Customers will receive a coupon for $10 off $10, with one out of every 100 coupons featuring $100 off $100, while supplies last. JCPenney will be open all night and shoppers can earn $20 Bonus Cash on in-store purchases of $75 or more between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Black Friday.
Jo-Ann Fabrics ~ You can shop JoAnn’s Black Friday sale two days early, with doors opening at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, and reopening at the same time on Black Friday.
Kohl’s Black Friday 2014 ~ 6 p.m. Thanksgiving. Find deals on everything from apparel to jewelry to home goods during Kohl’s Black Fri — er, Thanksgiving Day sale. Look for additional discounts on top of big sales, plus pay special attention to products featuring mail-in rebates.
Lowe’s – 5:00 a.m. Black Friday
Stores won’t open until Friday, but many deals are available online starting at midnight on Thanksgiving. According to the series of Vine videos posted to their Black Friday page, Lowe’s will be offering such deals as $199 for a DeWalt Miter Saw (regularly $299), $449 for the Dyson DC65 Animal (regularly $599) and $59 for a 10’ inflatable Santa (regularly $119).
Macy’s Black Friday 2014 ~ Doorbusters start on Thursday at 6pm to 1am and doors open again on Black Friday at 7am. There is a Savings Pass coupon on the first page for 10% or 15% off your total purchase – exclusions will apply.

Old Navy ~ Black Friday 2014 ~ Open at 4PM on Thanksgiving Day. They are offering 50% off storewide from 4PM till close on Thanksgiving, and again on Black Friday. On Saturday, the discount will drop down to 40% off storewide. They’ll round out the weekend by taking 30% off storewide on Sunday.
Payless Shoes – ?? Thanksgiving
The Black Friday ad from Payless advertises doorbusters for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, but a specific opening time is not posted. Check with your local store for more information, and enjoy such deals as 2 for $25 Flurry Mocs (regularly $29.99 each) and $9.99 men’s slippers (regularly $24.99).
Petco – ?? Black Friday
When doors will open on Friday is still up in the air, but the free ornament picture frame is not. Arrive early and use a Pals card with any purchase to receive the ornament with your pet’s photo, plus get a free $20 Shutterfly gift card while supplies last.
PetSmart Black Friday 2014 ~ Most locations will open at 7 a.m. on Black Friday. Online deals starting at 7 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day (November 27th). There will be free shipping with no minimum on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. There are too many products on sale to list here, but PetSmart boasts 50% savings on thousands of items. The first 100 customers through the doors on Black Friday will receive a free stocking plus more than $100 in coupons.

Target’s doors will open two hours earlier than last year and will have special offers throughout the weekend. Forget about shopping Friday, Walgreens is cutting right to the chase. They’ll be open until 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving with special savings storewide. Track down their circular for a 50-percent off coupon for children’s toys priced at $9.99, good for Thursday only. You can also get a $10 Walgreens gift card with purchase of any $30 iTunes Gift Card Multipack.
–Walmart – Early Bird Specials Online Now (Walmart.com Event) Walmart stores will run 3 events again this year – Event 1 starts at 6 pm on Thanksgiving Day, Event 2 starts at 8 pm on Thanksgiving Day, and Event 3 starts at 6 am on Black Friday.
If you wait patiently for a doorbuster but find it’s out of inventory, Walmart will offer a one-hour in-stock guarantee to lessen the blow. This means you can buy the product at the promotional price once it’s back in stock, or opt to have the item delivered to your nearby store (don’t worry, Walmart promises it will get there before Christmas).

Black Friday Tips
-Check out Amazon.com. The price wars between Walmart, Target, and Amazon are always strong and Amazon is matching and beating many deals while providing free shipping so check online before you shop.
-Be prepared. Before you head out to the store, research the Black Friday ads (which I will be posting as the become available) and outline exactly what you would like to purchase. And to be extra prepared, you can even research the layout of your store, so you’ll know exactly where to head to grab the items on your list.
-Make your list before you go shopping. This will keep you focused and will definitely help to prevent you from being tempted to purchase additional items that are not on the list.
-Wear comfy shoes and appropriate outerwear and consider leaving the kiddos at home (if this is not possible, bring toys or other items to keep them entertained while shopping).
-Know your store’s hours (some stores are opening on Thanksgiving night while others are waiting until the wee hours of Friday morning)
-Make an attack plan for the day with achievable goals.
-Plan that the roads will be busier.
-Remember to ask yourself whether the great deal you see is actually a great deal for you. You may also want to research online prices versus in-store prices, as you can often snag better deals online even when you factor in shipping costs. Plus, think about the time and gas saved when shopping online!
-Bring some snacks with you in case you find yourself in a large line.
-Don’t forget your coupons at home!
-Keep those receipts! After the adrenaline rush is over, you may realize that you got caught up in the Black Friday craziness and purchased items that you really do not want. As long as you have the receipt, you should be able to return them and get a full refund.
-A cheap ticket price can often mean a cheap quality product. Spend some time researching products you may want to buy.
-Don’t give up! If the item you are looking for is not on the shelf or display, check the front of the store where other shoppers may have left items they weren’t sure about before checking out. Or, check with your cashier to see if someone happened to change their mind at the register and leave the item you were looking for there.
-If you can’t find something that you want or miss out on a deal do not stress there is still Cyber Monday, and a month until Christmas.
-Last but not least have fun!
