Balanchine’s “Rubies,” the portion of his full-length 1967 work “Jewels” set to the music of Stravinsky, is a favorite for ballet companies nationwide. The program also includes Kylian’s “Petite Mort,” performed to two Mozart piano concertos, and Stevenson’s “Five Poems,” with music by Wagner and sets and costumes designed by actress Jane Seymour.
